Thank You, Treehouse

Computers are magic for me, I wanted to know everything about them. This was the reason why I planned to learn computer science in college, but due to unfortunate circumstances and rash decisions, I didn’t went for CS.

And I regret those decisions every single day of my life, probably even now!

In March of 2017, I joined treehouse and it changed me. I’ve already given up on many of my ambitions and goals but starting to learn on treehouse was the best thing ever happened to me.

I was actually coding and making things on my computer for the first time and the feeling was great. With treehouse tutorials everything seems so easy, I felt everything was possible.

By the end of 6 weeks I was able to create websites and was ready for a Junior Developer role, by end of 6 months I knew javascript enough to create an automation bot, and I actually did! I started specialising in front end technologies, I began understanding others code and used them in mine.

It was because of treehouse that I got in contact with other developer communities. With my strong fundamentals in Javascript, I was all set to learn any front end web technology!

It is time for me to move on… With all the strong fundamentals I gained while learning at treehouse, I am now independent to learn anything in the field of computer science, probably whole computer science itself!

It has been quite a journey for me at treehouse . It is difficult to think about learning things like app development on our own, in a country like mine, because of lack of up-to-date resources and communities. Treehouse has not only made it possible to learn but to think forward and better of our future.

I cannot communicate my emotions right now, but can only express my deep love and respect to the treehouse staff who provided me a chance in field of software development and a hope for “happy” future.

Thank you
